Managed WordPress and WooCommerce, looked after for you
WordPress runs a large share of the web, which also makes it the most attacked. We keep your site updated, backed up, fast and clean on a server we manage.
WordPress and WooCommerce: what we look after
- WordPress core, theme and plugin updates, tested on a copy first when the site takes orders
- WooCommerce checkout, payment gateway and order email checks
- Caching, image and database tuning so pages load quickly
- Daily files and database backups with a tested restore
- Malware scans and removal of hacked files, spam pages and fake admin users
- Login protection, file permission fixes and a firewall in front of the site
When it goes wrong
- The white screen of death or a "critical error" after an update
- A site that redirects visitors to spam or shows pharma and casino links
- A slow admin and slow checkout on a busy shop
- Contact and order emails that land in spam or never arrive
- A hacked site that is flagged by Google as unsafe
Who uses managed WordPress and WooCommerce
Business sites, blogs, online shops, agencies with many client sites, and anyone whose site earns money or brings in leads.
What it needs
A small site runs well on 1 to 2 GB of RAM with PHP-FPM and Nginx or Apache. A busy WooCommerce shop usually needs 4 GB or more, an object cache and a separate database tuning pass. We confirm the size before you order.
What we check first
Before we change anything on a new WordPress and WooCommerce setup, we look at these, and we tell you what we found in plain words:
- Core, theme and plugin versions, and which of them are abandoned
- Whether backups exist, where they are stored and whether one has ever been restored
- Admin users, file permissions and signs of old infections
- How fast the site really is for visitors, not just on the server
Part of every managed plan
WordPress and WooCommerce is covered by the same managed plans as the server it runs on. The price counts servers, not apps.
Watching
The app is checked from outside every minute, not only the server. If the page stops answering or turns slow, we see it before your customers write to you.
Updates
Core, plugins, packages and runtime versions are updated on a schedule, with a backup taken first and a way back if something breaks.
Backups
Files and databases are copied off the server, and a restore is tested, because a backup you have never restored is only a hope.
Security
Hardening, malware scans, firewall rules and certificate renewals are handled for you, and anything suspicious is looked at the same day.
Speed
Caching, database tuning and memory limits are set for how your app is really used, not left at install defaults.
Fixes
Errors, white screens, full disks, failed deploys and broken mail are fixed by a person who opens a ticket thread with you, not a bot.
Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server. GST is added at checkout. See all managed plans.
WordPress and WooCommerce support: your questions answered
Do you manage WordPress that is hosted somewhere else?
Yes. Managed plans cover any server, so a WordPress site on a server you rent from another provider can be looked after too. We need access to the server, and you choose how to share it.
Will updates break my shop?
For shops we update a copy first, check checkout and payment, and only then update the live site. If something still goes wrong we restore the backup taken just before.
Can you clean a hacked WordPress site?
Yes. Cleanup of an infected site is part of the work: we remove the malware, find how it got in, close that door and check again two days later. For a server that is already badly compromised, the Emergency Malware Cleanup service covers it as a one-time job.
