Managed Redis, looked after for you

Redis is fast because it lives in memory, so memory limits, persistence settings and access control decide whether it helps or takes your app down.

What we handle

Redis: what we look after

  • Memory limit and eviction policy set for how you use it
  • Persistence settings chosen for cache or for data you cannot lose
  • Password and network access locked down
  • Memory and latency monitoring with alerts
Problems we fix

When Redis goes wrong

  • Redis killed by the system for using too much memory
  • A cache that evicts important keys
  • An open Redis port reachable from the internet
Who it suits

Who uses managed Redis

Apps that use Redis for caching, sessions, queues and fast counters.

What it needs

RAM sized to the data plus headroom, and a decision on persistence. It is single-threaded, so fast CPU cores help.

First look

What we check first

Before we change anything on a new Redis setup, we look at these, and we tell you what we found in plain words:

  • Memory limit and eviction policy
  • Persistence settings
  • Who can reach the port
  • Latency and slow commands
How it works

From order to a watched Redis setup

Redis is part of every managed plan. Besides what is listed above, each plan includes outside checks every minute, off-server backups, security hardening and a team that answers your tickets. The price counts servers, not apps.

01

Tell us what you run

Order a managed plan and list your servers and the apps on them, or write to us first with questions.

02

We look before we touch

We check what is installed, what is out of date and what is not backed up, and tell you in plain words.

03

Backups and watching first

Backups and outside checks are set up before any change, so we can always go back.

04

Then the steady work

Updates, security, tuning and fixes follow, and you can ask us anything by ticket.

Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server. GST is added at checkout. See all managed plans.

FAQ

Redis support: your questions answered

Is Redis a cache or a database for me?

It depends on what you store. We set it up for a pure cache, or with persistence and backups when you keep real data in it.

Do you set up Redis for Laravel or WordPress?

Yes. We install it, connect it, and check that the app really uses it.

Is Redis covered by the managed plans?

Yes. The managed plans count servers, not applications, so Redis on your server is covered with no extra price per app. Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server, and GST is added at checkout.
