Managed MariaDB, looked after for you
MariaDB is the default database on many Linux servers and cPanel machines. It is fast when tuned and fragile when the disk fills or backups are missing.
MariaDB: what we look after
- Memory and InnoDB settings matched to the server
- Backups with mariabackup or dumps, copied off the server
- Version upgrades planned and tested
- Monitoring for disk, connections and replication
When MariaDB goes wrong
- A slow site because the database was never tuned
- Crashed tables after an unclean shutdown
- A backup that was never restored once to test it
Who uses managed MariaDB
Websites, shops and hosting servers that use MariaDB, including cPanel machines.
What it needs
Enough RAM for the InnoDB buffer pool, fast storage and backups kept away from the server.
What we check first
Before we change anything on a new MariaDB setup, we look at these, and we tell you what we found in plain words:
- InnoDB and connection settings
- Backup method and last restore
- Table health after crashes
- Replication state if used
From order to a watched MariaDB setup
MariaDB is part of every managed plan. Besides what is listed above, each plan includes outside checks every minute, off-server backups, security hardening and a team that answers your tickets. The price counts servers, not apps.
Tell us what you run
Order a managed plan and list your servers and the apps on them, or write to us first with questions.
We look before we touch
We check what is installed, what is out of date and what is not backed up, and tell you in plain words.
Backups and watching first
Backups and outside checks are set up before any change, so we can always go back.
Then the steady work
Updates, security, tuning and fixes follow, and you can ask us anything by ticket.
Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server. GST is added at checkout. See all managed plans.
MariaDB support: your questions answered
Do you handle MariaDB on cPanel servers?
Yes. It is part of looking after a cPanel server, together with the account backups.
Can you move from MySQL to MariaDB?
For most apps yes. We test on a copy first and tell you if your app uses a feature that differs.
Is MariaDB covered by the managed plans?
Yes. The managed plans count servers, not applications, so MariaDB on your server is covered with no extra price per app. Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server, and GST is added at checkout.
