Memcached or Redis?
Memcached is a simple cache. Redis has more features such as persistence and queues. We recommend one for your case.
Will I lose data if it restarts?
Yes, it is a cache. Your app must be able to rebuild what it needs from the main database.
Is Memcached covered by the managed plans?
Yes. The managed plans count servers, not applications, so Memcached on your server is covered with no extra price per app. Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server, and GST is added at checkout.
