Order Nextcloud from the Marketplace App tab as shown in how to order a VPS with a one-click app. When the install card on your server page shows the finished result, follow the steps below.
What you get
Nextcloud for file storage, sync and sharing. It is set up on Ubuntu only, needs at least 2 GB of memory, and takes 6 to 12 minutes.
1. Sign in
Open the address on the server page (http://your-server-ip/). Press Show app login for the username (admin) and password, then sign in.
2. First steps
- Change the admin password in your profile settings.
- Create a normal user for daily use, instead of using the admin account.
- Install the Nextcloud app on your phone or computer and sign in with the server address.
3. Use a domain and HTTPS
The address uses plain http, so do not enter real passwords over it on public networks. Point your domain at the server (guide) and add a free certificate (guide).
Storage
Files are stored on the server disk, so your plan's storage is your limit. Keep a backup somewhere else.
