Managed Wiki.js, looked after for you

Wiki.js is a modern wiki on Node.js. It stores pages in a database, can sync them to Git, and needs a process manager and a proper search setting.

What we handle

Wiki.js: what we look after

  • Wiki.js running as a service or in Docker behind HTTPS
  • PostgreSQL or MySQL tuned and backed up
  • Git storage sync or backups of the content
  • Search engine settings and updates
Problems we fix

When Wiki.js goes wrong

  • A wiki that stops after a crash
  • Page edits lost because only the database was backed up
  • Search that does not find new pages
Who it suits

Who uses managed Wiki.js

Teams that want a modern wiki with Git sync and many sign-in options.

What it needs

Node.js or Docker, a database and 1 to 2 GB of RAM.

First look

What we check first

Before we change anything on a new Wiki.js setup, we look at these, and we tell you what we found in plain words:

  • Whether the process restarts by itself after a crash
  • Whether content is synced to Git or covered only by database backups
  • The search engine setting and whether new pages are found
How it works

From order to a watched Wiki.js setup

Wiki.js is part of every managed plan. Besides what is listed above, each plan includes outside checks every minute, off-server backups, security hardening and a team that answers your tickets. The price counts servers, not apps.

01

Tell us what you run

Order a managed plan and list your servers and the apps on them, or write to us first with questions.

02

We look before we touch

We check what is installed, what is out of date and what is not backed up, and tell you in plain words.

03

Backups and watching first

Backups and outside checks are set up before any change, so we can always go back.

04

Then the steady work

Updates, security, tuning and fixes follow, and you can ask us anything by ticket.

Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server. GST is added at checkout. See all managed plans.

FAQ

Wiki.js support: your questions answered

Can I keep pages in Git?

Yes. Wiki.js can sync pages to a Git repository, which also gives you a backup. We set it up.

Is it the same as BookStack?

They are different wikis with different styles. We run either and help you choose.

Is Wiki.js covered by the managed plans?

Yes. The managed plans count servers, not applications, so Wiki.js on your server is covered with no extra price per app. Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server, and GST is added at checkout.
