Managed Vaultwarden, looked after for you
Vaultwarden is a self-hosted password manager that works with Bitwarden apps. It holds your most sensitive data, so access, updates and backups must be right.
Vaultwarden: what we look after
- Vaultwarden behind HTTPS with the admin page locked down and sign-ups controlled
- Updates with a backup of the data folder first
- Encrypted backups kept off the server
- Two-step sign-in guidance and firewall rules
When Vaultwarden goes wrong
- An admin page exposed with a weak token
- Sign-ups left open for anyone
- No backup of the vault data
Who uses managed Vaultwarden
Teams and families that want their own password manager.
What it needs
A very small footprint: 256 to 512 MB of RAM, HTTPS and a secure backup location.
What we check first
Before we change anything on a new Vaultwarden setup, we look at these, and we tell you what we found in plain words:
- Admin page and sign-up settings
- HTTPS and headers
- Data folder and backup
- Version
From order to a watched Vaultwarden setup
Vaultwarden is part of every managed plan. Besides what is listed above, each plan includes outside checks every minute, off-server backups, security hardening and a team that answers your tickets. The price counts servers, not apps.

Vaultwarden support: your questions answered
Is it safe to self-host a password manager?
It can be, if the server is kept updated and hardened and the data is backed up. That is the work we do for you.
What if the server is lost?
You restore from the encrypted backup. We test that restore, and you should also keep an emergency export of your own.
Is Vaultwarden covered by the managed plans?
Yes. The managed plans count servers, not applications, so Vaultwarden on your server is covered with no extra price per app. Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server, and GST is added at checkout.
