Managed Grav, looked after for you
Grav stores content in files instead of a database, which makes it simple and fast. It also means backups are about files, permissions and Git history.
Grav: what we look after
- Grav and plugin updates with a backup of the whole folder first
- PHP and caching settings for fast pages
- File permissions that let Grav write and nobody else
- Backups or Git-based copies stored off the server
When Grav goes wrong
- Plugins that conflict after an update
- Pages that load slowly because the cache is off
- Files owned by the wrong user after a move
Who uses managed Grav
Developers, documentation sites and small business sites that want a light site without a database.
What it needs
PHP and a web server, about 512 MB to 1 GB of RAM. No database is needed.
What we check first
Before we change anything on a new Grav setup, we look at these, and we tell you what we found in plain words:
- The PHP version and modules Grav needs, such as ZIP and GD
- Who owns the files, so Grav can write and nobody else can
- Whether the page cache is on and whether a Git copy of the user folder exists
From order to a watched Grav setup
Grav is part of every managed plan. Besides what is listed above, each plan includes outside checks every minute, off-server backups, security hardening and a team that answers your tickets. The price counts servers, not apps.
Tell us what you run
Order a managed plan and list your servers and the apps on them, or write to us first with questions.
We look before we touch
We check what is installed, what is out of date and what is not backed up, and tell you in plain words.
Backups and watching first
Backups and outside checks are set up before any change, so we can always go back.
Then the steady work
Updates, security, tuning and fixes follow, and you can ask us anything by ticket.
Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server. GST is added at checkout. See all managed plans.
Grav support: your questions answered
Do you set up Git for Grav content?
Yes. Keeping the user folder in Git gives you history and an easy restore, and we can set it up.
Is Grav good for large sites?
It suits small and medium sites best. We tell you honestly when a database-driven system would suit you better.
Is Grav covered by the managed plans?
Yes. The managed plans count servers, not applications, so Grav on your server is covered with no extra price per app. Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server, and GST is added at checkout.
