Managed Strapi, looked after for you
Strapi is a headless CMS: your front end calls its API. When it stops, every site and app that depends on it stops too, so it needs a steady process, a real database and backups.
Strapi: what we look after
- Strapi kept running with PM2 or systemd, behind HTTPS
- PostgreSQL or MySQL instead of the default file database, with backups
- Upload storage on disk or S3-compatible storage, backed up
- Node.js and dependency updates with a safe way back
When Strapi goes wrong
- A build that works locally and fails on the server
- Lost uploads after a redeploy
- An admin panel left open with weak settings
Who uses managed Strapi
Teams that use Strapi as the content back end for websites and mobile apps.
What it needs
Node.js LTS, PostgreSQL or MySQL, a reverse proxy with HTTPS, and 1 to 2 GB of RAM. Builds need more memory than running the app, which we plan for.
What we check first
Before we change anything on a new Strapi setup, we look at these, and we tell you what we found in plain words:
- Which database is used
- Where uploads are stored
- How the admin panel is exposed
- The build and restart routine
From order to a watched Strapi setup
Strapi is part of every managed plan. Besides what is listed above, each plan includes outside checks every minute, off-server backups, security hardening and a team that answers your tickets. The price counts servers, not apps.
Tell us what you run
Order a managed plan and list your servers and the apps on them, or write to us first with questions.
We look before we touch
We check what is installed, what is out of date and what is not backed up, and tell you in plain words.
Backups and watching first
Backups and outside checks are set up before any change, so we can always go back.
Then the steady work
Updates, security, tuning and fixes follow, and you can ask us anything by ticket.
Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server. GST is added at checkout. See all managed plans.
Strapi support: your questions answered
Which database should Strapi use in production?
PostgreSQL or MySQL. The default SQLite file is fine for tests but not for a live site that several people edit.
Can you restore the content if something breaks?
Yes. We back up the database and the uploads, and we try a restore on a copy so that the backup is known to work.
Is Strapi covered by the managed plans?
Yes. The managed plans count servers, not applications, so Strapi on your server is covered with no extra price per app. Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server, and GST is added at checkout.
