Restic support: your questions answered
Where should I store backups?
Away from the server being backed up, and ideally with another provider. We can use our own storage box or your own S3 or SFTP.
Do you test restores?
Yes. A backup counts only if a restore works, so we try one regularly on a copy.
Is Restic covered by the managed plans?
Yes. The managed plans count servers, not applications, so Restic on your server is covered with no extra price per app. Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server, and GST is added at checkout.
