Managed Next.js, looked after for you
A Next.js site needs a build step, a long-running Node.js process and a proxy in front, and it can use a lot of memory during builds. We set up and watch that whole chain.
Next.js: what we look after
- Build and start routine with PM2 or systemd, and a safe restart
- Nginx reverse proxy with HTTPS, compression and static file caching
- Memory checks so builds do not take the server down
- Node.js and dependency updates with a way back
When Next.js goes wrong
- A build that runs out of memory on a small server
- Stale pages because caching was misconfigured
- A site that stays down after a crash until someone restarts it
Who uses managed Next.js
Teams that run Next.js sites and apps with server-side rendering on their own server.
What it needs
A Node.js LTS version, a process manager, Nginx and at least 2 GB of RAM for builds. Static exports need much less.
What we check first
Before we change anything on a new Next.js setup, we look at these, and we tell you what we found in plain words:
- Node.js and Next.js versions
- Build memory and time
- Process manager and restart behaviour
- Cache headers and image optimisation
From order to a watched Next.js setup
Next.js is part of every managed plan. Besides what is listed above, each plan includes outside checks every minute, off-server backups, security hardening and a team that answers your tickets. The price counts servers, not apps.
Tell us what you run
Order a managed plan and list your servers and the apps on them, or write to us first with questions.
We look before we touch
We check what is installed, what is out of date and what is not backed up, and tell you in plain words.
Backups and watching first
Backups and outside checks are set up before any change, so we can always go back.
Then the steady work
Updates, security, tuning and fixes follow, and you can ask us anything by ticket.
Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server. GST is added at checkout. See all managed plans.
Next.js support: your questions answered
Do you host static exports as well?
Yes. A static export is simpler: it is served by Nginx with no Node.js process to watch.
Can you run several Next.js sites on one server?
Yes, each with its own process and proxy rule, so one failing site does not stop the others.
Is Next.js covered by the managed plans?
Yes. The managed plans count servers, not applications, so Next.js on your server is covered with no extra price per app. Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server, and GST is added at checkout.
