Jellyfin support: your questions answered
Do I need a powerful server?
Playing files directly needs little. Converting video needs more CPU, and hardware acceleration needs suitable hardware.
Is there any content I must not store?
Use only media you have the right to use. We manage the server; what you store on it is your responsibility.
Is Jellyfin covered by the managed plans?
Yes. The managed plans count servers, not applications, so Jellyfin on your server is covered with no extra price per app. Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server, and GST is added at checkout.
