Managed Go, looked after for you
A Go program is one small binary, which makes deploys simple. It still needs a service that restarts, a safe way to roll out a new build, and monitoring.
Go: what we look after
- The binary run as a systemd service, restarted on failure
- Nginx or Caddy in front with HTTPS
- A deploy routine that keeps the last working build
- Logs, metrics and health checks
When Go goes wrong
- A service that stays down after a crash
- A bad deploy with no way back
- File descriptor limits reached under load
Who uses managed Go
Teams that run APIs, workers and tools written in Go.
What it needs
Any Linux server, since Go uses little memory. Often 512 MB to 1 GB is enough.
What we check first
Before we change anything on a new Go setup, we look at these, and we tell you what we found in plain words:
- How the binary is started, restarted and updated, and whether the last working build is kept
- The open-file and process limits against the number of connections you expect
- Where logs go and whether they are rotated
From order to a watched Go setup
Go is part of every managed plan. Besides what is listed above, each plan includes outside checks every minute, off-server backups, security hardening and a team that answers your tickets. The price counts servers, not apps.
Tell us what you run
Order a managed plan and list your servers and the apps on them, or write to us first with questions.
We look before we touch
We check what is installed, what is out of date and what is not backed up, and tell you in plain words.
Backups and watching first
Backups and outside checks are set up before any change, so we can always go back.
Then the steady work
Updates, security, tuning and fixes follow, and you can ask us anything by ticket.
Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server. GST is added at checkout. See all managed plans.
Go support: your questions answered
Do you build Go programs on the server?
We can. Many teams build elsewhere and copy the binary, which is simpler and safer. We set up either way.
Can you run several Go services?
Yes. Each gets its own service, port and log, so they do not affect one another.
Is Go covered by the managed plans?
Yes. The managed plans count servers, not applications, so Go on your server is covered with no extra price per app. Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server, and GST is added at checkout.
