Managed Flask, looked after for you
Flask apps are simple to start and often run for years on whatever was set up first. We bring them to a proper production setup and keep them there.
Flask: what we look after
- Gunicorn behind Nginx with HTTPS
- Virtual environment and requirements kept reproducible
- Database backups and migration support
- Python upgrades and security updates for dependencies
When Flask goes wrong
- The development server left running in production
- A process that stops after a reboot
- Packages that conflict after an upgrade
Who uses managed Flask
Teams and solo developers that run smaller Python web apps and internal tools.
What it needs
A supported Python version, Gunicorn, Nginx and 512 MB to 2 GB of RAM depending on the app.
What we check first
Before we change anything on a new Flask setup, we look at these, and we tell you what we found in plain words:
- Whether the development server is in use
- Python version and dependencies
- Start at boot
- Database and backups
From order to a watched Flask setup
Flask is part of every managed plan. Besides what is listed above, each plan includes outside checks every minute, off-server backups, security hardening and a team that answers your tickets. The price counts servers, not apps.
Tell us what you run
Order a managed plan and list your servers and the apps on them, or write to us first with questions.
We look before we touch
We check what is installed, what is out of date and what is not backed up, and tell you in plain words.
Backups and watching first
Backups and outside checks are set up before any change, so we can always go back.
Then the steady work
Updates, security, tuning and fixes follow, and you can ask us anything by ticket.
Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server. GST is added at checkout. See all managed plans.
Flask support: your questions answered
My Flask app runs with the development server. Can you fix that?
Yes. We move it to Gunicorn behind Nginx, set it to start at boot, and check that it still works the same.
Do you run several Flask apps on one server?
Yes. Each gets its own environment and process, so they do not affect each other.
Is Flask covered by the managed plans?
Yes. The managed plans count servers, not applications, so Flask on your server is covered with no extra price per app. Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server, and GST is added at checkout.
