Managed Fail2ban, looked after for you
Fail2ban bans addresses that keep trying wrong passwords or probing your server. Good jails stop attacks early, and loose ones can ban your own users.
Fail2ban: what we look after
- Fail2ban installed with jails for SSH, web, mail and panels
- Ban times and limits that match your users
- Allow lists for your office and our monitoring
- Log checks that show it works
When Fail2ban goes wrong
- You are locked out by your own failed logins
- Attacks that slip through because a log path is wrong
- Too many bans filling the firewall
Who uses managed Fail2ban
Anyone with a public server that sees password guessing in its logs.
What it needs
Any Linux server with a firewall such as nftables or iptables.
What we check first
Before we change anything on a new Fail2ban setup, we look at these, and we tell you what we found in plain words:
- Which jails are active and whether they read the right log files
- The ban times and limits compared with how your users sign in
- The allow list for your office and our monitoring addresses
From order to a watched Fail2ban setup
Fail2ban is part of every managed plan. Besides what is listed above, each plan includes outside checks every minute, off-server backups, security hardening and a team that answers your tickets. The price counts servers, not apps.

Fail2ban support: your questions answered
Is Fail2ban enough to protect a server?
It helps, but it is one layer. We combine it with updates, a firewall and strong logins.
Can you unban an address?
Yes. Open a ticket with the address and we remove it.
Is Fail2ban covered by the managed plans?
Yes. The managed plans count servers, not applications, so Fail2ban on your server is covered with no extra price per app. Plans start at ₹1,999 a month for one server, and GST is added at checkout.
